We looked at that truck Monday night. It is a nice truck. It was a one-owner bought new in 1946. It is the 1091st truck made in Detroit. It is an original non-winch truck with no PTO. It has alot of repaint inside and out and asphalt stuck to the fenders from tar & chip roads. The bed has stainless steel plate welded to the floor and steel plate welded to the head board and tailgate. The engine is an M23* engine code out of a 1959. Truck has been converted to 12 volt. It may not be all original, but it would make a nice farm truck. I made an offer on the truck, but not high enough yet to get it.
