How old are your plug wires? I have seen some sets go bad in as little as two years. I have had the problems you are having from bad wires. They get leaky or don't deliver enough voltage to the plugs for highter load / rpm situations. Check the resistance of each wire with and ohm meter. Their resistance should be ball park the same. If you find ones that aren't they are likely the culprits. I would just replace them all as the others won't be far behind in failing. This may not be the problem but worth a check.
