my dodge dealer - lost me as a customer yesterday. i brought my car in wednesday morning with an appt that was confirmed. service oil, fuel filter, replace cracked tailight and recall for ps pump cap and reflash ecm. i always wait for service. showed up and saw a dozen keys on the counter waiting for service. two mechanics showed up for work. when i asked when my truck would be ready, i was told maybe today, maybe tomorrow - wtf? i asked where the other mechanics were and was told on vacation. seems my regular service manager was on vacation too, but he is not coming back. when the guy called back at the end of the day, he stated my car was done, but they were waiting on the ps cap to come in - an excuse for not finishing the truck.

anyway, while the truck was there, i asked for the manager to look at the driver's seat on my 2010 megacab. the leather split along the perforated leather in the seat's left edge. the seat is air cooled and the holes make the leather week. i was told it was "sliced" and they wouldn't consider getting dodge involved. going to get an opinion and written statement from the auto interior guy doing my command car work and will take his documents to the next dealer. dave smith in idaho is going to help get me sorted. i'm not even going to circle back and let the manager know why i'm not coming back. i'm hoping i get one of those five star phone calls where the dealers basically beg you to give them perfect scores.....
