Check out the best of the forum, square top carb secrets.
The kit I got had a spring that was a bit too strong, and the leather was too stiff too.
Also the bore in thew carb for the acc pump needed to be "honed" with a bit of fine abrasive paper to remove the oxidation..
I had to use a few old parts to get my carb to work right.
