It's a circular saw, running on a chain saw motor. It would do the job, but you get an overcut equal to about 1/3 of the diameter of the blade. I have hired a company in Coeur d'Alene called Tru Cut. You could get a rough estimate over the phone. They use the track system so the cut is nearly perfect. Not cheap,but much more precision than renting a saw and trying to do it freehand.
