I can appreciate Chris' comments, but, as always, there are some other sides to the issue.
I remember someone presented this question to Joe some time back and his response was that it didn't present any problems to him as far as cost or maintenance of the site were concerned.
I personally enjoy some of the variety of
pictures that are posted. I really enjoy seeing some of the furniture pieces Chris has made. Now I can see if someone is asking a question about split ring wheels and posts a picture of a truck with white spokes (yuck). Or if asking about aligning the hood on a Power Wagon and he shows a picture of a W300 hood with alignment problems. And I think that is the point Chris is trying to make.
The ones who have dial-up can choose not to continue loading, at least I think that is the case. Maybe we could do them a favor and include "pic" in the subject line.
One thing that gets me is when someone asks a "how-to" question, whether on trucks, buildings, or whatever, and several people take the time to offer valuable suggestions or opinions, maybe even researching in the archives, and the original poster either never comes back to look or never acknowledges the responses to his original question.
