If you want nice equipment restored correctly, you have to pay. I dont know where he started, but if he had it professionally restored, I bet he's taking a loss on it.
The simple fact is, it takes time and money to restore anything old to this condition. Another example below:
and he's only billing his time at $10/ hour!
