I prob will just pull the bed off here at the ranch and drive the truck to Truckers equipt to see if a 9 foot flatbed will fit on it with the bed pockets for the side pannels and use them to anchor the mule rack. It should not be too hard to add frame to the swb crewcabs i have here, I just wanted to keep a dodge bed on it but there too hard to find and figure out if they fit or not. I have mailed 35 throwaways cameras out a couple of time to sellers of trucks and or even the beds and ask them to place a tape on top of the bed to see how long it is and then gone and got the truck, different length or short or too long ruler when i got therelol The w500 bed is way to high, at least the flatbed i have on mine, its too high to load a mule on the side of the road without a folding down tailgate, this bed i have had a 10 inch of channel i think it is added under the cross channels one normally sees under a flatbed with pockets at least the ones i have seen. AAA have you see the red w300 firetruck on the 46 i think it is right beofre that catfish eateery going north into New Brauels?? Its red and looks like might a brother to your truck from Marion. I just wondered whats was its story, I am not interested in other than looking at the bed for grins with a tape, looked to be one of those fire truck bed made in rural barn by volanteers but could be mistaken. I need a crewcab project in w300 running or dead and can go get if you have one or want to broker one for cash if you find one, I have just got to figure out what is needed to add a section of frame to a w300 if its a short wheel base truck like that white one chris had, that why i did not bed on it, fear of the unknown i guees, and i was worried somebody might have hacked the rear bumper or frame off to set that bed on it, at one time at first i thought it had a 9 foot bed on it off of a w300 lwb, then i realized after looking at the bed its like 5 i have down here and too goofy looking and no room for mules, plus no telling what was dont to get it on there if anything, thanks for posting up, by the way, do you know how long your Blue Ox Perkins bed is?? Is it a 6 1/2 bed??? Regards
