Guess I'm gonna have to figure out a way to haul the sno-cat to where the snow is. I could get a car trailer, but my 2WD Chevy pickup isn't going to do much good pulling it on slick roads. I think my best bet is figure a way to load it in the back of the M35. I hauled the '52 from Tonasket that way and it worked fine. The rear pontoons stuck out a little, but the axle was inside so it was stable. Actually, loading it is easy because there's a loading ramp in town I can use. Unloading and re-loading it up in the mountains is what will take some work. The bed is 4' high, which makes for a pretty gnarly climb up the ramps, assuming I built some. I like the idea of not having a trailer, though, for the sake of turning around at the ends of snow-covered logging roads. Maybe next year...
