W300 frame length question??

Did all of the w300's produced use a 9 foot bed or are there some with shorter beds on them, I was looking at Chris's w300 that did not sell on ebay lately and it looks like to me its the same short bed i have on all of these w200 crewcabs i have, what gives, is the frame chopped off to slap on an incorrect short bed to sell and them sell the 9 foot to somebody or put on another truck???
