You are right, I am watching it as to how much I drive until I can get the body work done and also check the suspension parts.
I had forgotten how it felt to totally lose control in an instant, when it hit the ice. I was only doing about 35 mph but it only would have helped to have chains or studs. Studs are illegal in my state now. When I was a kid though, my dad ran them all winter on our car and they really helped on ice.
