Either he has a 1945-1947 WDX and he just does not realize what year it is, or he has a 1950 B2PW that someone swapped in cab with a WDX data plate somewhere along the way.
Both a WDX and a B2PW are civilian 1-ton models. There are some differences, as they were continually changing things all the time, but for the most part, the changes are minor and they are both basically the same truck.
