Mike:I found it interesting that you mentioned the Coast Guard.I've just started looking for info on usage of this vehicle type.I believe I have a so called peace-time Coast Guard Rescue/Civil Defense 1950 1 ton.I would like to see an orginal photo of a PW on Coast Guard duty.I think the Coast Guard got swallowed by Dept of Transportation pulling duty on rivers ,forestry,etc I'll bet there are some interesting web sites .They have local auctions annualy.
