I agree that it depends on what you want the truck for.If you will likely never need a brush fire truck,convert to a PU.If you plan to collect trucks,save the current bed to put a brush firetruck together later.Sell or trade it to someone who collects diff. PWs -PUs,firetrucks,school buses,etc. Maybe someone will swap you a decent,complete PU bed w/fenders & tailgate.
As far as the color,which do you like best?

like a good horse,she can plow oneday, be ready for a pleasure ride the next.Whatever you need,she can surely be rigged to do.
