i have a 230 engine that was really stuck it had .060 pistons. now im working on a 218 block that all the good folks here tell me is the same. my ? is by beating out the pistons using a good chunk of oak blocking did i stress the rods or dont i need them to match 230 crank? will rods from 218 work with 230 crank?
