OK, I found a tailgate. But is it the right one?

I found a tailgate for sale but the seller is not sure what truck it is from. I need one for my new(to me) '55-C3. Here is the sellers descr1ption: Width at top rectangular part 54 1/2". Width at midsection w/ lip 55 1/2. Width at bottom round section 53 1/2. It has a slot for the center hinge. Height from top of hinge pin approx. 20". He also said it looks like the picture of Joe's 68 WM300 on this site. Is this the right tailgate or do I need more information? Any help appreciated. Thanks
