that is the question. I went to clean the instrument cluster and some of the paint came off. In fact a lot of it came off. Do I steel wool all of it off or do I leave some of it on for the new paint to stick. Or do I take it all off and primer first.
One of the previous owners painted the dash a beautiful gloss black. Along with all the the pull knobs. How do I get all that paint off them knobs so I can see those little letters "H,A,C,&?". Steel wool scratches.
Thanks you ALL for all of the questions you have helped me with in the past few months. I think I am close to getting her road worthy. I got her sterring box rebuilt for Christmas and now it only takes one person to steer around a corner. I think the pitman arm is on backwards or the draglink is reversed. That is an easy fix. I just need to find the time. I can turn to the left easy but not to the right. I think I'll change the ball joints next is that an easy thing to do.
