Actually, it sounds like a B-3-PW! The vacuum brake unit was optional, and the guages are correct! (I have two B-3 trucks) Also, the 12 volt change was probably done later by someone, (My pickup was 6v, but my school bus was converted to 12V) As for the tranny, that is probably a casting number, I have never seen a 'date code' on the NP transmissions.
Look on the frame under the drivers front
fender almost directly above the axle, the serial number should be faintly stamped along the frame rail. Happy holidays! Let's see a picture of the beast!
