for gods sakes man leave it alone, if that photo is of the truck you are speaking of converting, well no words can describe the injustice it would be to screw it up with any v8, my first expedition into POWER WAGONS involved buying a 46 with a small block chevy sm 465 4 speed and gm hanging pedals hyd clutch etc. it was all custom fabed by a genuine old school machinist but what a absolute pain in the a$$ oh and what an absolute pain in the a$$. GET IT I WENT THROUGH IT ALL AS THE MODS WERE SO EXTENSIVE AND COMPLICATED RESTORING IT WAS NIGH ON IMPOSSIBLE, FIREWALL CRACKED MADE A NEW ONE OUT OF ALUMINUM PLATE (LIKE A RACE CAR) SOLD IT TO THE FIRST GUNG HO HAUL A$$ AT ALL COST TEENY BOPPER THAT HAD CASH.... anyway LOW RANGE 1ST GEAR AND WAVE LIKE HELL ENJOY THAT SOFT EASY PUR OF A WELL TUNED FLAT HEAD!!! TRY A GLASS PACK MUFFLER AND A PROPANE FLAME THROWER EXHAUST FOR A LITTLE EXTRA SUMTUN BUT LEAVE IT ALONE MECHANICALLY!!!!! ERIC
