What mstr cyl can be used in place of original?

I hate the master cylinder that goes in the old 1947 dodge truck.I've gone thru 3 already and they are notorious leakers. Can a master cylinder from a 60s dodge be made to fit and work? Thanks. This is a 1.5 truck
