I like that idea for protection, but my turn signals are two sided, so they would be sort of wasted in that spot. I think mine are going on some brackets I will make to mount on the sides of the grill like some have done. Maybe another truck some day I will have single sided lights and put them behind the grill. Aside from that, isn't it a bit of trouble to get to them to change the bulbs? JH
