Sell it to someone who will appreciate the truck as is. Twenty years from now someone will appreciate that fact that you didn't spend $20,000 to ruin a drivable antique.

I can't quarrel with the knowledgeable truck guys here on this forum who modify their trucks (often just pieces of trucks) for better performance. Some of these guys do amazing things which I can appreciate.

Everyone to their own. But for me, a Flaming River steering column has no place in a FFPW.

For every nice completed project, there are probably three out there that are never finished.

By the way, who's paying for all this and doing the work? I would have to guess that some of the members in the coop would rather see lower electricity bills than a souped up parade truck.

This idea is dead on arrival.
