Next step, control the bees that have a hive in the gas tank.

I'll put on my cammy net face mask, and crawl around with the shop vac hose until I find their access. I think there is a tear in the front of the tank. Then tonight, when it is cold, give them a blast of sevin dust out of an old fire extinguisher. Tommorrow, I ought to be able to free up the drive line, then coast it back off the trailer.

G.I. Windshield frame looks good, chassis is 'after', by about 1,000. Pto and shaft still there, winch was sold separetly lately. Doors are either jammed, or glued shut with melted weatherstrip. Body settled when the floor burned out. Front seat frames and spring are in it, rear seat parts are too, jump seat is in one piece, double seat in busted. Has at least four keyhole clips. Lift gate OK, tailgate is a farmers makeshift, hinges salvageable. No latch hardware at all. Rear window hardware in there, but burned. Dunno about salvage. Rear glass trim/'doors' are missing. Yano, the astamped 'ring' trim inside? Did they have them? 1/2 vs 3/4? early vs late? Tailgater latches missing.

I'll probable go ahead and cut it into three big pieces, that I can haul to the blaster's. Or scrap yard? Left, right, and cowl. Scrap the cowl, the stretch job only extend half way down the dash. Or maybe scrap the whole thing, part it out.

Six AA Ford 20" wheels. Two were on it , tires burned off. One has a crack, so three grade A, AA wheels. My excess 1100 Michelins wont fit...

Chassis number is about 1,000 into 'after', so ummm 1950? 83950146 Carryall has metal frames around rear windows. Does that date it?

I assume it to be a 3/4t body. But may be 1/2t. Anybody here know the height of the tailgates for 1/2 or 3/4t?
