Duel was Spielberg's first movie and it was originally made for TV. There were actually 3 Duel Peterbilts but only one is surviving, and it is in a collection and gets driven to shows. If you watch the movie carefully, you can see that there was more than one truck by paying attention to the air cleaner. Two trucks were Cummins powered, the third had a 1673 Cat. The Cat powered truck had a different air cleaner. there, now I've given everyone a reason to watch this classic once more!
