As Milo shared, go to the Helitool Site >318 conversion and read.
http://www.uglytruckling.com/Civilian%20Power%20Wagon%20Trucks/Civilian%20Power%20Wagon%20V8%20conversion.htm

When I built my Bumblebee, I knew what Helitool stated. However, I had a nice NP-420 and figured I could do a work around and use it with my 318 Hydraulic Bell and PTO. I quickly found there was no 'easy' and practable way to get the clearance needed to mount the PTO. I ditched the NP-420, and went with a NP-435. It was Plug N Play.
