We use CUCV axles as a starting point. They are upgraded to 35-spline shafts and re-geared to 5.13 on the gas trucks. The rear is switched over to disk brakes. On the front we use Hy-steer and crossover steering with modern steering boxes. No more draglink. We also offer our trucks with the Corperate axles and 5-lug Budds regeared to 4.89. While the corperate 3rds are bombproof we have found that the shafts are a little weak for high-horspower and locked diffs. All our trucks have detroit lockers in the rear and ARB lockers in the front. The gas engines are between 430 and 490 horsepower. Interstate speeds of 75 are no longer an issue. Thanks,
