Back in 1980 my father installed a
453 Detroit Diesel (those are 2 stroke engines) in his 1970 1300 series IH.
Man I can't even describe the level of noise that baby made SCREAMING up to speed in each of its 5 gears. "But I LOVED IT"
We used it on our Veg. farm up until 2008.
it still runs like a champ but years of
fertilizer got to the body.
I'll get some pic's up some day
