The URL needs to end in .jpg for the image to show up. You are using the URL of a page that has the image you want to share as part of it. You need to have the URL of a page that is JUST the image.
In firefox, just go to the page with the image, and click on the image with the right mouse button. Chose "View image" from the menu that pops up. That should give you the URL of just the image.
If you are using some other browser let us know what you are using, and someone can walk you through it.
