There's no point in it. If you want flotation for a dune buggy, you can get big low-pressure tires. In terms of load carrying, the stock tires are more than enough for GVWR of the truck.
I used to know of an FFPW around here, probably the ugliest one still being driven, that had one of the front wheels put on inside out for some unknown reason. It had a funky derrick setup on the back, and he solved all the fuel pump issues by mounting a gas tank on top of the cab for gravity flow. Not sure where that truck went. The last I saw it it was up at the old Interstate mine. Somebody was probably using it to load scrap iron.
