Just thought I'd mention a friend gave me a good old-fashioned canvas tool roll for Christmas. It's nothing fancy, but it's just the thing for a basic assortment of tools to stick in the glove box or under the seat, and would look authentic in a PW or M37. Made in USA by a small company in Tacoma, Washington called Paktek. It's made out of OD canvas that smells like an army tent, and the trim around it is made out of nylon webbing, not that vinyl stuff that cracks and falls apart. There's a guy selling them on ebay (item 220715589470). Not sure where else to get them. My friend works at Captains Nautical Supplies in Seattle and got it through work.

I guess the discussion about tools made me think about how it was nice to see a new production version of a classic canvas tool roll made in the USA. I'm sick of those vinyl tool rolls that always get brittle and disintegrate, especially in cold weather.
