Several times I haven't been able to use Craftman sockets as through the years their suppliers have cheapened them so. They use inferior steel so they bulk up the sides making them too big to fit in tight spaces. It's readily apparent when you look at my Dad's Craftsman set from the early 50's to what they have now. He's never broken one and they've been used alot. I've had maybe 100 break over the years.

If you ever see Bonney Wrenches they are real nice as well. The early 80's versions when they got bought out by Utica and smooth chrome and thin like Snap-on and feel great in the hand. They also had the flank drive BEFORE Snap On did.
