Yes there 24v That's an issue.
What year PW?
Early trucks had three wire gauge with two wire sender. For sure that won't work.
Later trucks used the standard two wire gauge one wire sender. That could possibly work if you matched the ohm's as you said,but that means rewinding the sender.
Bolt pattern/diameter? I think would probably work.
Dodge used an odd ohm reading compared to others in there fuel gauges.
That's why it so hard to get any aftermarket universal sender to work properly.
Just my random opinion.
