Your carb sounds like mine did before I fixed the acc. pump.
Also, it has been posted that the carb jets supplied in the kits you get now are too small for the carbs like the e7s1 with the governor at the base. I hope to check that out on mine before the summer.
Fixing the accelerator pump helped with the choking symptom on acceleration, but I still have to keep it choked a bit and feather the gas pedal at times, so I am thinking that maybe it is starved a bit still from the wrong jets.
