I'm using a split bench from a mid 90's Ranger ext. cab. They have an inset in the center that helps with shifter clearance. They can slide forward which is nice for behind the seat storage and access. I don't know if the standard cab has that capability. The width is perfect on them.
You'll have to rig up mounts as the original base is angled. I took the whole assembly out and made a new base. 3 inches is what I did. 2 lengths of 1 1/2 inch box tubing makes a great seat mount. The Ranger seats have mounting tabs that are riveted on. Take those off and it has a flat base which makes it easy.
Will's seats look great too!
