Plus the willys was light enuff to not break thru and get stuck, we had 2 Willys station wagons, 1 truck, it was barely a 1/2 ton, prob actaully nowdays a 1/4 tonlol and the psi footprint that they all had (Willys) had and the weak motors were a help to make people drive them with skill vs the ruff hard to kill powerwagon peeps just shifted into low range backed up and ran thru the muddy road till they had to factory equipted winch to get out if it got stuck, plus I have never seen any Willys station Wagon or Willys Truck with a front mounted factory winch in the 60, 70 80 years, a few were still down here in so texas. Best truck on any ranch around us was a WC with a factory winch and custom made welding shop now called getto Airplane tires wheels/tires for the sand and a extra set of wide mud grips for wet season down here, it went everywhere but no top and the salt rusted them all floorboards out and they got it sent to scrapper, scout car i think it was,,,glory days for both truck gone but not forgotten alas..
