What is it about these trucks?
I went back to the farm and nosed around. Found two more PW's in excellent shape, one of which was shiny red with flags at all four corners of the bed. Also a 1 1/4 ton Kaiser Jeep, and a 2 !/2 ton later sixties highboy GMC flatbed...clearly a former firetruck. With a thick layer of dust on it....
So there is plenty of more storage on the property but I didn't want to try to open any doors...found the above looking through old glass windows.
Went to the neighbors and it turns out the property is one of many that a local plastic surgeon owns!
The original rotting PW had a very large...20K? Tulsa winch across the framerails behind the cab. What appears to be a GoodRoads plow in good shape. However the plow frame attachment is welded to the front of the PW framerails with none of the longer weight distributing/shock absorbing detachable sub frame evident.
So I need to contact the MD and talk PW's.
Anyone interested in the Plow?
I took a bunch of pictures but need to load the cameras hardware into a computer to download them and send them to Joe...
