I'm in the process of building a daily driver with a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 chassis (360/5.9L) under a 1954 FFPW. In my case the original chassis was unsuitable for re-powering as a daily driver. I shortened the 2002 to 126" WB and all of the original sheet metal has bolted in place with lot of fabrication of brackets. Not what the die hard restorers are interested in seeing, but at least I am preserving some old sheet metal and the classic looks of a great old truck. If you are interested, I can e-mail images.
