From reading here, more so than FFPWs.

And I'd stay the hell away from heim joints. Use conventional tie rod ends. The tapered shanks are zero slop, vs a heim bolt in a hole. A locked in taper stays tight. Tapered reamers are available, it's just a matter of figuring out the proper taper. And tie rod ends come with boots to keep the grits out.

Buy left hand thread tie rods, and the correct sleeves to us right hand threads on the rod. Cut and thread your own rod.
