Boy too bad brainstorms usually come to late.
I was in and out of the parts house so many times in the 70's, getting parts from the dealer for either my 65 w100, 47 wdx, 63wm or 67wm(not all at the same time, but that is the order in which I obtained the trucks) and the whole time all of the parts were in stock from the dealer.
Hell I could have ordered a wmexport for Mexico and then import it into the states.
Course it might have occurred to me if I had had the proper amount of funds to pull it off.
