The things that people are scrapping at the scrap yard

I have a friend that sells scrap metal to the scrap yard for a living.I went to the scrapyard yesterday with him.I saw some antique tractors,antique forklift from the 1940s with a flathead six in it. A 1947 dodge two ton truck,it was straight and complete,64 dodge sweptline,1962 GMC 1.5 truck.All in decent shape! My friend says he sees this on a daily basis.Some are even driven to the metal scrap yard.The scrap yard WILL NOT! sell any of them nor will they sell parts either.Most People don't appreciate good old things I guess or they just don't want to be bothered with repairing them.Too bad. Bad payment for good service!
