Almost 30 years ago, I was driving one of our 1-ton chipper trucks to the dump when a German Shepherd bounded out of the yard and lunged at the truck. She went under and the rear duals
rolled over her, there was nothing I could have done. I stopped, of course, the owner came running out and checked her out. He told me he saw the whole thing and I was blameless.
He said she hates trucks and must have thought mine was small enough to attack. Amazingly, nothing was broken or bleeding. The next time I passed by, I noticed she was on a chain short enough to keep her in her yard.
