Yup, Blasting is the worse job you can imagine. I sold my 100# pressure blaster, I now have local tractor restoration business do my large blasting. IN the long run, driving over 100 miles round trip to get Black Beauty, my time blasting, its almost cheaper to have it done. MY TP Tools blast cabinet is another story, cant live without it.

One tip before you start blasting. Clean as much of the heavy crud off first. The old grease, dirt and who know what build up and act like a huge piece of absorbent. The media will just fall off without touching it.
You will waste media and time. Where the crud is built up badly, I use a air powered needle gun (welding slag removal gun) to get the heavy crud off fast. Works well

Finally, most important. You must wear a approved respirator. Best is a supplied air.
