Most of the houses around here are stucco, and there is an industry of sand blasters.
When the neighbor was getting his house done, I had the guy do my dis-mounted cab. $100. He was apologetic that without advance warning, he didn't bring finer sand, but it did just fine.
If you are out in the boonies, maybe there is a mobile dude around? Try the local brick and mortar supplier, that is where the guys would get their sand. That is how I found the fence builder that does my carry-in stuff. He does his fences then powder coats them. I had him do my small bed parts- strips, hinges, etc. He was much cheaper than the guys who chase the resto market.
