I converted my 4X4 Toyota pickup to a Flex-a-Lite fan. It worked pretty well. But, I'm going back to the mechanical fan.
I didn't like the extra relays and wiring necessary to have the fan turn on with the air conditioning and not run after the truck was shut down.
The mechanical fan is going to be much more reliable.
