I agree, they should outlawed. Ican't imagine how much money the st of Washington spends to repair the grooves they cut. Here in Seattle on some of the roads the grooves fill w/ water, then it freezes and you're driving on s strip of ice.
About 5yrs ago , I was driving west on I-90 thru Spokane and I actually let go of the steering wheel and the car tracked right down the groove for about half a mile
