I have never really looked into the box but I was saw in an industrial products catolog a power steering assist mechanism. It was installed in the steering shaft between the steering wheel and the steering box and it bolted to something solid and used hydraulic pressure from a power steering box to assist. Basically I believe it is the power part a a power steering box seperated from the rest of the box. It caught my eye because you could hide the assist portion and everything would look stock, I am not sure if the extra power would be hard on the steering box. Has anyone here used one or seen one?
