Represented us all at the New York City Veteran's Day parade. Alphonso Cannoli and his very capable driver took his M880 across northern NJ, through the Lincoln Tunnel, up 5th Avenue, down many side streets, Danced with the Andrews Sisters, inspected many vintage military trucks, took a rooftop tour 30 stories up on 11 Madison Ave., talked to many veterans including a Tuskegee Airman, visited Bernie Madoff's old stomping grounds and commuted back across the GW Bridge to the safety of suburban NJ. We lost count of the stop lights we convoyed through with a police escort on the way to the parade. Never dreamed we'd drive a Dodge truck through NYC to the cheers of thousands. Oh, almost forgot, we laid siege to a mosque with 2 .50's, a .30, and a recoiless rifle for 3 hours. They finally came out to sell DVDs.
