Neat thing about your location is the tremendous coverage from 2 meter repeaters high up on those mountains. I was in Denver a year ago and hit a CO Springs repeater with a talkie. There is a lot of 2 meter activity out your way. Dont stop at Tech. Get your general and get into HF. Theres a few guys out your way that get on HF at night. AM on HF is awesome!
