Ford would have had to take gov money had they not opened huge lines of credit just before the economic melt down. Either way all 3 are borrowed to the hilt. Ford even Mortgaged the Ford logo. Chrysler and GM have to pay back the money if they dont fold, just like ford has to pay back the private money it borrowed. samrt move by Ford to set up the credit line when they did. but it is all 6 of one and half dozen of the other. The Chinese wont let GM import pretty much anything. They force companies to build their if they want to sell there.
