Mark is a small engine mechanic so knows what he is talking about. I also know some like him around here and they all say that they are seeing problems with 10% ethanol gas in the small engines. Also it is a big problem here on the coast with the marine engines. So, it is logical to me, although I don't know, that 15% would be worse for many reasons. How it will effect our old iron???
I agree with you that it is politics driving this; it does not make sense in other ways. For example feed costs for raising livestock have gone up due to diversion of corn to ethanol for fuel, so our food costs have gone up.
